This policy explains what information NeedingTech (“we”, “us”) collects through needingtech.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We are based in New Delhi, India.
Information we collect
- Enquiries you send us. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email, phone number, and company, plus the project type, brief, timeline, and budget range you choose to share.
- Messages and calls. If you contact us by WhatsApp, email, or phone, we receive the details you send through that service.
- Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 records how pages are used, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and which buttons are clicked. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser, and requested URL, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and deliver work you engage us for.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website (analytics, with consent).
- To protect the website and our forms against spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without asking you first.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics (analytics, only after consent).
- Google Maps embed on the contact page, which may set Google cookies when it loads.
- Google Fonts, used to display our typefaces.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there.
- Scheduling tool, if you book a call through our booking link; that provider handles the booking details.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of the engagement plus any period required for accounting or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and enquiry data is stored on access-controlled systems. Only team members who need it to respond to you can see it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for analytics. Change your analytics choice at any time using Cookie settings in the site footer. Depending on where you live (for example, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the GDPR in the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
